“Worth” was a 4 days Pop-Up shop that questioned what value really is and brings meaning to the marketplace. It was organised by 2nd year Design and Interaction students from BA [Hons] Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins to sell limited edition artwork to raise money for the following year degree show.” Worth” went viral with the first ever ‘price-drop pop-up shop’. Every time the website was shared on social media the price was reduced.
The artwork I sold at the shop was a screen printed illustrated tote bag stating “it’s what’s inside that matters”. This was to alight the fact that most people judge others based on their external look. This was part of my degree dissertation research studies in which I analyse how relevant is illustration as a persuasive media in today’s society.
